Yoga at Paetara Aspiring Central
Join instructor Keity Garcia as she introduces and refines your alignment in all yoga poses. Beginners welcome!
-
Monday Class Times
- 8.00am to 9.00am
Hatha Flow - A blend of Hatha and Vinyasa Flow. We hold each posture long enough to feel its benefits, then connect smoothly to the next with the breath. The pace is slow to medium, and the real challenge comes from holding the asana. Suitable for beginners, with hands-on adjustments. Expect a friendly, relaxed environment where laughter is as welcome as focus.
- 9.15am - 10.15am
Yin Yoga - The order here is simple: relax. Supported by props, we hold poses for longer periods, allowing the body to soften and the nervous system to rest. Yin targets deeper tissues and invites calmness, helping you restore balance from within. Open to all levels.
- 1.00pm to 2.00pm (Yogalates)
A fusion of yoga and Pilates: the flexibility and grounding of yoga meet the strengthening and core focus of Pilates. We build stability through the powerhouse (core, back, hips) while stretching and lengthening the body. Perfect for all levels, with hands-on adjustment and a light-hearted, friendly vibe that makes effort feel enjoyable.
Wednesday Class Times
- 8:00-9:00am.
- 9.15am to 10.15am (for the young at heart!)
Seniors Yoga - A class to keep you strong, mobile, and confident in daily life. We focus on useful movements for balance and independence, while playful exercises bring back memories and rejuvenate the spirit. At times we work in pairs or small groups, building connection and adding fun and challenge. With hands-on adjustments and a friendly atmosphere, this class proves age is an advantage.
Friday Class Times
- 1:00-2:00pm.
Community Yoga - A class for our community to come together, move, and share energy. Like Hatha Flow, we connect breath with movement, but here the intensity can increase with more challenging asanas, sometimes exploring intermediate and advanced postures. The practice encourages you to step out of your comfort zone, discovering new strength and freedom while keeping the spirit playful. It's not about being 'perfect', but about respecting your own limits and celebrating what the body can do. With hands-on adjustments and an informal atmosphere, this class helps you stretch, strengthen, and open up - not only physically, but also mentally and in connection with the group around you.
